Rockers United: ROCK ANTENNE Network veröffentlicht Charity-Single und setzt Zeichen für Frieden

Am 7. April 2023 veröffentlicht das ROCK ANTENNE Network mit dem einzigartigen Team-Spirit der Rockers United die neue Charity-Single „Stop The War (Fight For Love)“. Acht Rockstars und die Radiosender setzen gemeinsam ein Zeichen gegen den anhaltenden Krieg in der Ukraine. Der Song ist dann digital auf allen Streaming-Plattformen und über merchcare.de als Vinyl in den ROCK ANTENNE-Farben rot, blau und weiß erhältlich (Pre-Order). Die Single feiert bereits am 6. Die Rockstars Doro Pesch, Nico Sallach von Electric Callboy, Hannes Braun von Kissin’ Dynamite, Nic Maeder von Gotthard, Alea von Saltatio Mortis, Guernica Mancini von The Gems, ehemals Thundermother, und Anna „Ace“ Brunner von League of Distortion & Exit Eden haben es sich gemeinsam mit ROCK ANTENNE zur Aufgabe gemacht, mit ihrer neuen Charity-Single „Stop The War (Fight For Love)“ ein Statement gegen den Krieg in der Ukraine zu setzen. Alle Einnahmen des Projekts werden an die Organisation Straßenkinder e.V. gespendet, die im Rahmen ihres Programms „Ukraine Nothilfe“ Kinder in Kriegsgebieten vor Ort unterstützt. 

Hannes Braun und Anna „Ace” Brunner haben den Song geschrieben. Die deutsche Rockband Kissin‘ Dynamite fungiert als Backing Band, während Jim Müller (Kissin‘ Dynamite / League of Distortion) ein Gitarrensolo beisteuert. „Dieser Song geht unter die Haut. Ich bin unheimlich stolz und bedanke mich bei allen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, Managements, Labels, Straßenkinder e.V. und unserem Organisations-Team für die Umsetzung dieses großartigen Charity-Projekts. Rockers United stellt erneut unter Beweis, dass Musik verbindet und unsere Rock-Community in jeder Lebenslage zusammenhält und ihren Mitmenschen hilft“, so Guy Fränkel, Geschäftsführer des ROCK ANTENNE-Networks.

„Stop The War (Fight For Love)“ erscheint am 7. April digital als Stream und Download samt Musikvideo. Physisch gibt es den Song inkl. Instrumental als 7Inch-Vinyl zum Preis von 24,02 Euro plus Versandkosten über Merchcare.de. Die Pre-Order startet ebenfalls am 7. April. Bei der Vinyl-Platte kann aus den Farben rot, weiß und azurblau gewählt werden. Über die Künstler:innen:

Doro
Queen of Metal Doro Pesch hat das Genre wie keine andere Frau in den letzten Jahrzehnten geprägt. Mit 16 Jahren hatte die Düsseldorferin ihre erste Band Snakebite und feierte mit der Band Warlock 1983 ihren internationalen Durchbruch und zieht 1987 nach New York. Auftritte mit Judas Priest oder Motörhead, die Aufnahme in die Hall Of Heavy Metal History in den USA und die Verleihung des Lifetime Achievement Awards 2022 beim Preis für Popkultur gehören zu den Highlights ihrer Karriere. Nach über 3000 Konzerten in über 60 Ländern feiert sie im Oktober 2023 mit einem heiß erwarteten, brandneuen Studioalbum und einem speziellen Konzert in ihrer ehemaligen Heimatstadt Düsseldorf ihr großes 40-jähriges Bühnenjubiläum. Beim diesjährigen Wacken Open Air ist sie einer der Headliner.

Nico Sallach (Electric Callboy)
Nico Sallach ist seit 2020 Sänger und Co-Songwriter der international erfolgreichen Band Electric Callboy. 2022 veröffentlichte die Band nach einem Namens- und Stilwechsel ihr Album „Tekkno“, das direkt auf Platz 1 der deutschen Albumcharts schoss. Aktuell befindet sich die sechsköpfige Truppe auf Welttournee, bei der mehrere Shows in den USA, Australien und Europa ausverkauft sind.

Hannes Braun (Kissin’ Dynamite)
Songwriter, Sänger und Produzent Hannes Braun ist seit 15 Jahren Frontmann der Rockband „Kissin Dynamite“. Bei Rockers United zeichnet er sich für die Produktion, künstlerische Leitung sowie gemeinsam mit Anna „Ace“ Brunner für das Songwriting des Charity Songs verantwortlich.

Nic Maeder (Gotthard)
Der in der Schweiz geborene, australische Singer-Songwriter und Musiker Nic Maeder ist seit 2011 Frontsänger der Band Gotthard. Die Hard-Rock Formation existiert bereits seit 1992 und ist mit 19 Nummer 1 Alben in der Schweiz, mehreren Platin-Awards und über 2000 international gespielten Konzerte eine der erfolgreichsten Bands des Landes.

Alea (Saltatio Mortis)
SALTATIO MORTIS begeistern seit nunmehr 22 Jahren mit ihren Hits und mitreißenden Shows ihr Publikum. Seit ihren Anfängen als Straßenmusiker mit Trommeln und Sackpfeifen sind zwölf Alben, vier Nummer-eins-Platzierungen und goldene Schallplatten entstanden. Mit ihrem Spagat zwischen Historie und Moderne erschaffen die Mannen um Frontmann Alea ihren ganz charakteristischen Sound zwischen kräftigem Rock und zartem Folk, historischen Instrumenten und der Wucht elektrischer Gitarren.

Guernica Mancini
Guernica Mancini war von 2017 bis 2023 Frontsängerin der schwedischen all-female Rockband Thundermother. 2022 veröffentlichte sie ihre erste eigene Single und fokussiert sich fortan auf ihre Solo-Karriere sowie ihr neues Projekt „The Gems“. Mit Thundermother hat sie bereits auf Festivals wie dem Wacken gespielt und ist 2022 als Vorband mit den Scorpions durch Nordamerika getourt.

Anna „Ace“ Brunner (League of Distortion & Exit Eden)
Anna „Ace“ Brunner hat 2017 ihr Debüt mit der Symphonic Metal Band Exit Eden gefeiert und ist seit 2020 Frontsängerin von League of Distortion. 2022 veröffentlichte die Modern Metalband ihr self-titled Debütalbum. Gemeinsam mit Hannes Braun zeichnet sie sich für Songwriting und Lyrics des Charity-Songs verantwortlich.

Jim Müller (Kissin‘ Dynamite / League of Distortion)
Jim Müller ist Gitarrist und Gründungsmitglied bei Kissin‘ Dynamite sowie ebenfalls Gitarrist bei League Of Distortion. Bei dem Charity-Song steuert er ein Gitarrensolo bei.

Kissin’ Dynamite (Backing Band)
Seit 2007 machen Hannes Braun (Gesang), Ande Braun (E-Gitarre), Jim Müller (E-Gitarre), Steffen Haile (Bass) und Sebastian Berg (Schlagzeug) die internationalen Bühnen unsicher und wurden dafür u.a mit dem Metal Hammer Award ausgezeichnet. Bei Rockers United wirken sie als Backing Band unter anderem im Musikvideo mit.

Rockers United: ROCK ANTENNE Network releases charity single and sets an example for peace

ROCK ANTENNE Network will release the new charity single "Stop The War (Fight For Love)" with the unique team spirit of Rockers United on April 7th 2023. Eight absolute rock stars and radio stations unite to set a sign against the ongoing war in Ukraine. The song will be available digitally on all streaming platforms and as vinyl in the ROCK ANTENNE colors red, blue and white via merchcare.de. The single will premiere nationwide in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on April 6th on the radio. You can find further information and the music video at www.rockantenne.de. on April 7th.

Rock stars Doro Pesch, Nico Sallach from Electric Callboy, Hannes Braun from Kissin' Dynamite, Nic Maeder from Gotthard, Alea from Saltatio Mortis, Guernica Mancini from The Gems (formerly Thundermother) and Anna "Ace" Brunner from League of Distortion & Exit Eden have joined forces with ROCK ANTENNE to make a statement against the war in Ukraine with their new charity single "Stop The War (Fight For Love)". All proceeds from the project will be donated to the organization Straßenkinder e.V., which supports children in war zones as part of its "Ukraine Nothilfe" program.

Hannes Braun and Anna "Ace" Brunner wrote the song. German rock band Kissin' Dynamite acts as backing band, while Jim Müller (Kissin‘ Dynamite / League of Distortion) contributes a guitar solo. "This song gets under your skin. I am incredibly proud and thank all artists, managements, labels, Straßenkinder e.V. and our organization team for the realization of this great charity project. Rockers United proves once again that music unites and that our rock community sticks together in every situation and helps its fellow human beings," says Guy Fränkel, Managing Director of the ROCK ANTENNE network.

"Stop The War (Fight For Love)" will be released on April 7th digitally as stream and download including a music video. Physically, the song incl. instrumental will be available as a 7-inch vinyl at a price of 24.02 euros plus shipping via Merchcare.de. The pre-order will start on April 7th as well. Doro
Queen of Metal Doro has shaped the genre like no other woman in recent decades. At the age of 16, the Düsseldorf native had her first band Snakebite and celebrated her international breakthrough with the band Warlock in 1983. She moved to New York in 1987. Performances with Judas Priest or Motörhead, the inclusion in the Hall Of Heavy Metal History in the U.S. and the Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 at the Preis für Popkultur are among the highlights of her career. After more than 3000 concerts in over 60 countries, she will celebrate her big 40th stage anniversary in 2023 with a highly anticipated brand new studio album as well as a special concert in her hometown Düsseldorf. Nico Sallach (Electric Callboy)
Nico Sallach has been the singer and co-songwriter of the internationally successful band Electric Callboy since 2020. After changing their name and style, the band released their album "Tekkno" in 2022, which went straight to number 1 in the German album charts. The six-piece band is currently on big world tour. Several shows in the US, Australia and Europe are already sold out.

Hannes Braun (Kissin’ Dynamite)
Songwriter, singer and producer Hannes Braun has been the frontman of the rock band "Kissin Dynamite" for 15 years. Joining Rockers United, he is responsible for the production, artistic direction and together with Anna "Ace" Brunner also for the songwriting of the charity song. 

Nic Maeder (Gotthard)
Swiss-born, Australian singer-songwriter and musician Nic Maeder has been the lead singer of the band Gotthard since 2011. The hard rock formation exists since 1992 and is one of the most successful bands in the country with 19 number 1 albums in Switzerland, several platinum awards and over 2000 concerts played internationally to count for. 

Alea (Saltatio Mortis)
SALTATIO MORTIS have been delighting audiences with their hits and buzzing shows for 22 years. They have come a long way since their beginnings as street musicians with drums and bagpipes, released twelve albums (reaching #1 on the billboard charts four times in a row), received gold records and delivered exciting features with numerous well-respected artists. Finding a balance between history and modernity, the group around front man Alea created a very distinctive sound between powerful rock and gentle folk, historical instruments and the power of electric guitars.

Guernica Mancini
Guernica Mancini had been the lead singer of the Swedish all-female rock band Thundermother from 2017 to 2023. In 2022, she released her first single as a solo-artist and has been focusing on her solo career since then. Recently, she joined forces and started the new project "The Gems". With Thundermother, she has already played at festivals like Wacken and toured North America in 2022 as opening act with the Scorpions. 

Anna „Ace“ Brunner (League of Distortion & Exit Eden)
Anna "Ace" Brunner has made her debut in 2017 with the symphonic metal band Exit Eden and has been the lead singer of League of Distortion since 2020. In 2022, the modern metal band released its self-titled debut album. Together with Hannes Braun, she is responsible for songwriting and lyrics of the charity song. 

Jim Müller (Kissin‘ Dynamite / League of Distortion)
Jim Müller is a guitarist and one of the founding members of Kissin' Dynamite. He is also guitarist playing in the band League Of Distortion. He contributes a guitar solo to the charity song. 

Kissin’ Dynamite (backing band)
Since 2007, Hannes Braun (vocals), Ande Braun (electric guitar), Jim Müller (electric guitar), Steffen Haile (bass) and Sebastian Berg (drums) have been hitting international stages big time and have received the Metal Hammer Award among others. Joining Rockers United, they contribute as backing band and also take part in the music video among other things.
